NEW COMPETITION: Design an Active Travel Banner

Welcome back! After a great summer we are back and with lots of ideas to make our school and community a better place.

Continuing our work with SUSTRANS, Our first event this term is a banner competition. Can you design a banner that shows how we like to travel to and from school in active ways: walking, biking or even scooting? The winner will get to see their design made into a huge banner that will be hung outside the school for everyone to see! Also they will win a great prize! There will be runners up will win prizes too! Prizes are likely to be scooter / bike lights and special reflective strips, stickers etc.

• Please put your designs on to A3 paper cut in half length ways!
• Add lots of colour.
• Include big pictures of children walking, cycling or scooting.
• Write big headings / slogans.
• Make sure you put your name and class on the back of the poster.
• All entries must be in by Wednesday October 9th.
