School Council Minutes Re: School Grounds Development

Mr Banwell opened the meeting and started explaining about
the new plans for the school grounds. He then introduced Stuart Hunt from (ABC
playgrounds) who had come to talk to the School Council about developing the school grounds.
Fran and Alisha-May started the meeting with the ideas that they
had gathered from their class about how they wished to develop the bank adjacent to the top playground. The other School Council Representatives then shared their ideas which included a lot of good suggestions: tree
houses, slides, outdoor classrooms ,shelters, village of
Kingsteignton model, playground markings, mini sand pits, an amphitheatre, tent area, bird houses, giant games and a possible maze.
Stuart Hunt and Mr Banwell have now taken the ideas away and are
discussing a plan to implement in the future.
